Exmouth was full of laughter on Tuesday 2 June 2026, as the Melbourne International Comedy Festival Roadshow returned for its third year, filling the Mandu Function Room for a night of world‑class comedy performances.

The debut 'Our Exmouth: Community Showcase' event was a vibrant celebration of community resilience, spirit and local talent. Community groups, clubs, businesses and volunteer organisations came together at the Ningaloo Centre's Osprey Gardens for a market-style afternoon, fostering connection and community wellbeing support. The evening featured an exclusive community screening of the latest Stan Original Family film Whale Shark Jack, with core cast and creative crew in attendance.

In celebration of International Museum Day, Ningaloo Aquarium and Discovery Centre shines with value for both visitors and long-term residents alike. A place of connection to the region's natural and cultural heritage, the Exmouth Seniors Program enjoyed a bespoke guided tour through the galleries, followed by heartfelt story sharing amongst the History Room's treasured objects.

A crowd of over 500 gathered in Exmouth to pay respects at the 2026 ANZAC Day service. Following the Dawn Service, the traditional ANZAC Day March proceeded from the Cenotaph to the Truscott Memorial Club, where a Gunfire Breakfast was held.
