The winners of the 2025 Very Merry EXmas Christmas Light Competition are revealed, with a total of $2,500 in local business vouchers awarded to the best EXmas community decorators.

The sixth annual EXmas light competition continues to shine as a highlight of the holiday season in the Exmouth community, encouraging residents to spread joy throughout the town whilst also shopping local during the festive season.

All voucher prizes awarded are from Exmouth businesses, ensuring the initiative directly benefits the community and promotes support of local businesses. The Shire of Exmouth, with funding support from Pacific Energy, is thrilled to be able to support local businesses during the festive season and foster community holiday cheer.

Shire President Matthew Niikkula said, “It’s fantastic to see community spirit come to life at this time of the year. Thank you to all the participants and entries for contributing to Exmouth EXmas and spreading the joy within our regional community. The displays this year were magnificent, and we look forward to continuing to spread Christmas cheer with the light trail in the coming years!”

Best Home Awards and People’s Choice Best Home Award:
Best Home Award 1st Place $500 voucher & People’s Choice winner $300 voucher. - 4 King Place.

Congratulations to Sally from 4 King Place for winning not only the best home award but also the People’s choice award with a truly Exceptional EXmas Christmas light display. This impressive display features a wonderland of lights from tree tops to garden beds, projected wall displays and Santa’s park bench, taking over four full days to create this display which feels like stepping into a secret Christmas
garden wonderland.

Best Business Categories Awards:

The best shopfront window display and themed business display categories are included to celebrate the businesses that bring festive spirit to the town centre and contribute to a sense of togetherness and a truly EXmas atmosphere.
