Other Ranger Services
The Shire of Exmouth Rangers are Local Government law enforcement officers, responsible for the management of a number of State Government Acts, Regulations and Local laws adopted by the Shire of Exmouth within the district.
Our Rangers work very closely with the Police, other State Government and Commonwealth Government departments in ensuring the security and protection of the local district and community.
The main issues faced by Council’s Rangers at present are illegal camping and stray dogs. Other key areas the Rangers manage are:
- Abandoned Vehicles
- Parking
- Control of Vehicles in Off-Road Areas
- Advertising and Trading on Thoroughfares and Public Places
- Exmouth Marina Village Canal Waterways
- Littering, including unsecured loads
- Emergency Services
