Two endangered species of turtle have been released back to the ocean in Exmouth Gulf after a collaborative rehabilitation success between the Shire of Exmouth and the Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions (DBCA).

Exmouth Community gives back to the place they call home, with Shire staff and community members uniting to participate in Clean Up Australia Day.

A memorable community event was held at the Paltridge Memorial Swimming Pool bringing Exmouth residents together to reflect, respect and celebrate. Exmouth is entering the 2025 Top Tourism Town Awards with a strong emphasis on responsible and eco-conscious travel, highlighting the need for environmental preservation.

- The Shire has launched a multi-faceted approach including educational materials, increased joint patrols with various agencies, and stricter parking regulations to deter illegal camping. - New and enhanced signage highlighting "No Camping" zones, while updated policies accommodate temporary stays for visitors. - Continued Council support for viable and regulated camping alternatives at the Exmouth Horsemans Club.

The Shire of Exmouth celebrated Australia Day with a splash at the Paltridge Memorial Pool, recognising outstanding community leaders through the AUSPIRE Australian Citizen Awards and a citizenship ceremony.

Inspire Exmouth Community Engagement Workshops by Barking Gecko Theatre Company are open for enrollment. Workshop series: Theatre Games and Improvisation and Character and Devising offers workshops designed for participants aged 8 – 12 years, as well as secondary students aged 13+.
