Western Australian Planning Commission decision on the review of the Shire of Exmouth Local Planning Scheme No. 4

It is hereby advised that the Western Australian Planning Commission resolved to agree with the recommendations of the Shire’s Scheme Review Report that:

 

  • The Shire of Exmouth Local Planning Scheme No.4 (LPS4) requires review. A new Local Planning Scheme should be prepared; upon gazettal of the new Local Planning Scheme, Local Planning Scheme No.4 should be repealed.

 

  • The Shire of Exmouth Local Planning Strategy 2019 should be reviewed. A new Local Planning Strategy should be prepared and upon the gazettal of the new Local Planning Strategy the previous version should be repealed.

 

In accordance with Regulation 67(2) of the Planning and Development (Local Planning Schemes) Regulations 2015, a copy of the Shire’s Scheme Review Report and of the Commission’s decision are available to view at the Shire’s Administration Office, Ningaloo Centre, 2 Truscott Crescent and on the Shire of Exmouth website at www.exmouth.wa.gov.au

 

When necessary, updates regarding the preparation of the new Local Planning Strategy and new Local Planning Scheme will be made available.
