ADVERTISEMENT OF RESOLUTION TO PREPARE A LOCAL PLANNING SCHEME

Shire of Exmouth Local Planning Scheme No.5

Notice is hereby given that the Shire of Exmouth Council of the local government of Shire of Exmouth, on the 26 March 2026 passed the following resolution:

That Council resolve to:

  1. Prepare a new Local Planning Scheme No.5 and a new Local Planning Strategy, in accordance with the section 72 of the Planning and Development Act 2005 including forwarding the Western Australian Planning Commission Form 1A (Resolution of a local government to prepare or adopt a new local planning scheme). 
  1. Include reference to the Scheme Map Area for the Shire of Exmouth as shown as Attachment 1 to this report. 
  1. Publish Western Australian Planning Commission Form 1B (Notification of resolution to prepare or adopt a new local planning scheme) to give public notice of this resolution to prepare a new Local Planning Scheme and Local Planning Strategy.
