Shire Facilities are now open following the impact of Tropical Cyclone Narelle, the Spray Park remains closed for further repairs.

It is hereby notified for public information that the Learmonth Jetty is closed until further notice due to the identification of structural damage that may pose a safety risk to the public.
Access to the beach and rock groin remains open; however, members of the public are reminded to exercise caution in the vicinity and to strictly avoid entry to the jetty and any restricted areas.
The Shire is currently investigating repair and remediation options to enable the safe reopening of the facility. Further updates will be issued as information becomes available.
The Shire accepts no liability for any injury, loss, or damage incurred as a result of unauthorised access to the closed jetty or non-compliance with this notice.
