Public Notice: Road Closures Affecting Exmouth Region

MURAT ROAD TEMPORARY CLOSURE

12:00 AM MONDAY 26 TO 12:00 PM THURSDAY 29 OCOTBER 2026

Defence will be conducting electrical maintenance within the Shire of Exmouth from Monday 26 to Thursday 29 October 2026.

During this period, Murat Road will be closed, restricting public access to Bundegi Beach and the Bundegi Boat ramp. Defence is working with the Shire of Exmouth and coordinating a traffic control management plan to assist with restricting the public’s access to the area during this period.

The road closure is a necessary precautionary measure whilst electrical maintenance is undertaken and will remain in place during the aforementioned period to ensure the safety of the local community and Defence workforce.

Defence thanks you for your support and understanding during the short, restricted access period, while the maintenance activities are conducted.
