Notice is hereby given that the Shire of Exmouth is reviewing the following local laws as amended:
PROPOSED SHIRE OF EXMOUTH AMENDMENT HEALTH LOCAL LAW 2026
Purpose
The purpose of this local law is to protect and promote public health, safety and wellbeing within the district by
regulating matters that may adversely affect the health of the community.
Effect
The effect of this local law is that persons within the district must comply with requirements relating to public health
matters, enabling the local government to prevent, control and manage risks to health and public amenity.
PROPOSED SHIRE OF EXMOUTH ACTIVITIES ON THOROUGHFARES AND TRADING IN THOROUGHFARES
AND PUBLIC PLACES AMENDMENT LOCAL LAW 2026
The Purpose
The purpose of this local law is to provide for the regulation, control and management of activities on local
government property throughout the district.
The Effect
The effect of this local law is to establish the requirements with which any persons, using or on, thoroughfares or
local government property, or wanting to trade on local government property within the district, must comply.
PROPOSED SHIRE OF EXMOUTH PARKING AMENDMENT LOCAL LAW 2026
The Purpose
The purpose of this local law is to provide for the regulation, control and management of parking within the
district.
The Effect
The effect of this local law is to control parking throughout the district to ensure the safe, fair and equitable use of
parking facilities under the care and control of the local government.
PROPOSED SHIRE OF EXMOUTH PROPERTY AMENDMENT LOCAL LAW 2026
The Purpose
The purpose of this local law is to provide for the regulation and management of activities on local government
property in the district.
The Effect
The effect of local law is that any person being on local government property in the district must comply with the
requirements of the local law.
A copy of the proposed local law may be inspected at the Shire Administration Office or Library located in the
Ningaloo Centre at 2 Truscott Crescent Exmouth, between 8.30am and 4.30pm, Monday to Friday.
