Pursuant to Schedule 2 of the Planning and Development (Local Planning Schemes) Regulations 2015, Council has adopted, for the purposes of community consultation, Draft Local Planning Policy 6 Exmouth Area Defence Sites Protection. The purpose of this Policy is to;
1. Ensure that land use and development does not adversely impact defence sites and infrastructure.2. liaise with Department of Defence regarding land use and development near the identified areas.3. Include land uses in the area that compliment and pose no negative impact to the sites.
