Notice of Intention to Levy Differential Rates

Pursuant to Section 6.36 of the Local Government Act, notice is hereby given of the intention of the Shire of Exmouth to levy differential rates for each rating category and minimum rates for the 2023/24 financial year.

The Statement of objectives and reasons for the differential rates is linked for Electors and ratepayers to inspect.

Electors and ratepayers are invited to make written submissions on the proposed differential and minimum rates. All submissions are required to be made in writing to the Chief Executive Officer with respect to the proposed differential general rates, minimum payments and specified area rate within 21 days of the date of the notice of intent.

Submissions must be received by the Shire of Exmouth no later than 4pm Thursday 25 May 2023.
