Learmonth Airport Outbound Passenger Alert

Due to damage from Tropical Cyclone Narelle, Learmonth Airport is operating with reduced screening services. Only essential items (wallets, phones, small personal items) may be taken into the cabin. All other bags will be placed in the aircraft hold. The Check-in Terminal will open on Thursday 30 April 2026, please follow staff directions to the Heliport following check-in and treat all personnel with respect during this temporary process. Shire Facilities are now open following the impact of Tropical Cyclone Narelle, the Spray Park remains closed for further repairs.

Expression of Interest - Independent Audit, Risk and Improvement Committee Members

The Shire of Exmouth is seeking expressions of interest from experienced persons to be appointed as independent committee members to the Shires Audit, Risk and Improvement Committee (ARIC).

The independent committee members will be appointed to the roles of Presiding Member and Deputy Presiding Member of the Shire of Exmouth ARIC.

The Local Government Act Reform has introduced the ARICs which replace existing Audit Committees and are responsible for reviewing and making recommendations to Council regarding financial management, risk management, internal controls, legislative compliance, internal and external audit planning and reporting.
