The EXMAS Christmas Lights Competition lit up Exmouths' homes and businesses for the second year in a row.

The competition aims to highlight the magnificent Christmas lights displays Exmouth locals put together each and every festive season while also celebrating the holiday season together.

The winners of the 2021 Best Homes Awards are:

  • 1st place - 3 Gnandaroo Road
  • 2nd place - 17 Kestrel Place
  • 3rd place - 9 Ningaloo Street
  • 4th place - 38 Kennedy Street
  • 5th place - 26 Christie Street.

The winners of the 2021 Best Business Categories are:

  • Best Window Display: Idaho Boutique
  • Best Store Display: 2nd Hand Bookshop

And 9 Ningaloo Street was voted the 2021 People's Choice Best Home Award with 58 votes - only one vote ahead of 17 Kestrel Place with 57 votes.

As Council strongly supports the "shop local" message, this year's lucky winners share $2,500 in local shop vouchers, funded by the Shire of Exmouth and Horizon Power through its Community Partnership Grants Program.
