The Shire of Exmouth has opened up additional campsites including facilities at the Welch St Overflow to book from 7-29 April 2023.

Serviced campsites at the Welch Street Overflow are now open for booking and sites for self-contained travellers are still available to book. The facility is in a convenient location, close to the town centre and the official viewing site, making it an ideal accommodation option.
Campsites including facilities are an ideal option for rooftop tents, campervans and tents.

The serviced campsites including facilities are 8x8m and will have access to basic shower facilities, basic portable toilets, universal toilets, a camp kitchen and additional food trucks, coffee vans and first aiders on site.
With the camp kitchen featuring basic washing sinks, gas BBQs, benches and cooking preparation spaces for visitors, it is intended to become a hub for like-minded Ningaloo Eclipse Travellers staying at the Welch St Overflow, making memories of a lifetime.

The Shire of Exmouth is excited to be able to release these additional sites after working on the final approvals with the Department of Jobs, Tourism, Science and Innovation.  We are pleased with the progress to date and are looking forward to welcoming our visitors to Exmouth for this once-in-a-lifetime event. Shire President Darlene Allston

To support local accommodation providers, the Shire opted for a staged release of sites, with bookings available over the whole school holiday period.
Sites are strictly limited, and bookings are essential to secure one of the remaining sites via https://bit.ly/EclipseBooking.
