Important update for rate payers: have your say on the 26/27 proposed rates

Pursuant to s.6.36 of the Local Government Act 1995, notice is hereby given of the intention of the Shire of Exmouth to levy differential rates for each rating category and minimum rates for the 2026/27 financial year.

Learmonth Airport Outbound Passenger Alert

Due to damage from Tropical Cyclone Narelle, Learmonth Airport is operating with reduced screening services. Only essential items (wallets, phones, small personal items) may be taken into the cabin. All other bags will be placed in the aircraft hold. The Check-in Terminal will open on Thursday 30 April 2026, please follow staff directions to the Heliport following check-in and treat all personnel with respect during this temporary process. Submissions should be clearly marked ‘ Submission – Proposed Differential Rates – 2026/27 Financial Year' and should be received by 4.00 pm, Friday, 3 July 2026.

No final decision has been made, and community feedback will be considered before Council adopts the final rates.
