We are on the hunt for volunteers for a number of different roles here in Exmouth.


✅ What we need from you:
- A commitment to five hours a day over a five-day period anywhere from 23 March through to 5 May 2023.
- A can-do attitude and a commitment to having fun!

ROLES INCLUDE 
Bump-in - Logistics | 26 March till 6 April | Assisting in the final stage builds of the Welch Street Campsite.  The campsite has two areas, one being a 500-site self-contained and the second a 471 campsites, camp kitchen and ablutions.
Bump out - Logistics | 30 April till 7 May | Assisting in the bump out of Welch Street Campsite.

Roles:

  • Set up fencing in designated areas.
  • Setting up marquees
  • Setting up the First Aid Requirements for Camp Hub
  • Trouble Shoot Generators and Tower Lights
  • Install Camp signage Plan.
  • Assist Food Trucks bump in
  • Assist Welch St Coordinator
  • Collect Sponsorship signage.
  • Install 1000 Sites Numbered Pavers
  • Set Up Check in Office.

Camp Host | 7 April till 30 April | Camp hubs will be scaled up and down, according to the bookings. Campground Hosts are required to reside on-site and be available to visitors on a roster basis daily.

The Campground Host responsibilities include:

  • welcoming visitors
  • liaising with the coordinator to communicate and report any urgent issues to the relevant area.

Experience in customer service, complaint management or prior camp servicing will be highly regarded.

Access to a mobile device with internet and email access is essential.

Marshalls | 7 April till 30 April | Working closely with the Check-in team to deliver a quick and efficient check-in service. Guiding the guest to their correct site.

 

Roles:

  • Assist guests with directing of cars and caravans
  • Assist the Check-in Team if needed
  • Camp Kitchen monitor
  • Ablutions monitor
  • Monitor site safety

First Aid Officers | 7 April till 30 April | To safely deliver the First Aid requirements. 

Roles:

  • Applying basic first aid
  • Assessing basic first aid situations

  • Work with the TSE Medical Teams

Check-in staff | 7 April till 30 April | Check in all the guests in a fast-paced, professional and rugged environment and work with the Marshalls to direct the guests to their site.

Exmouth Ambassadors | 17 to 23 April
Information stations | Assisting visitors with questions and assisting where possible before they get to the customer service desk.

Using the App and Kiosks as sources of information 

Queue management | Assisting visitors and directing the visitors to the right queues/location. This can be in the outside queue or inside the NADC, Mandu Mandu Centre and surrounding grounds.
Gallery attendants | attending the Astro Photography Exhibition

Roles:

  • Approaching People to help
  • Quickly assess people and situations
  • Asking to see tickets prior to entry
  • Working between a station and the queue, whichever best suits the situation

  • Notifying crowd control or duty officers of any suspicious behaviour/patrons

  • Be at the gallery during opening hours
