- It’s the fifth year of the Shire’s Community Grants Program, and for the first time, the Shire of Exmouth has made four funding streams available at once.
MEDIA RELEASE
The Shire of Exmouth Community Grants are designed to deliver sustainable, accessible and demonstrated social, environmental and economic benefits, stimulate volunteering in the community, and foster youth development. The Shire of Exmouth requested that all applications be submitted by 11 November 2022 to ensure they could be assessed simultaneously and the funds can be used to assist in preparations for the Ningaloo Eclipse. By applying for the Community Grants Program, organisations and individuals can access funds to help deliver social, environmental and economic benefits to the community. It can be used to help undertake projects, activities, or programs in various ways: For example, to fund project costs, equipment, or training and development.
Following discussion amongst the Assessment Panel consisting of Shire President Darlene Allston, Deputy Shire President Jackie Brooks and Deputy CEO Chris McNamara, it was agreed that the following applications will be funded.
