Proposed Scheme Amendment No.6 to Local Planning Scheme No.4
LOCAL PLANNING SCHEME AMENDMENT AVAILABLE FOR INSPECTION COMPLEX/AMENDMENT
Notice is hereby given that the Shire of Exmouth has prepared the above mentioned planning scheme amendment for the purpose of seeking to:
- Insert ‘Major Event’ as a definition into Schedule 1,
- Insert Local Reserve Additional Use (AR1) into Section 2.3 (Additional Uses in Local Reserves),
- Insert Additional Use (A9) into Schedule 2 and amending scheme maps accordingly

Proposed Scheme Amendment No.7 to Local Planning Scheme No.4
LOCAL PLANNING SCHEME AMENDMENT AVAILABLE FOR INSPECTION COMPLEX/AMENDMENT
Notice is hereby given that the Shire of Exmouth has prepared the above mentioned planning scheme amendment for the purpose of seeking to add temporary Additional Uses (A10) for Holiday House/Accommodation, Camping Ground, Caravan Park, Car Park for the following main areas broadly described as:
- Area 1, 'Residential' zoned land north-west and south-west of Maidstone Cres.
- Area 2, 'Residential' area abutting Crevalle Way.
- Area 3, 'Special Use 6' zoned area adjacent Murat Rd and Madaffari Drive.
- Area 4, 'Rural Residential' zoned area connecting to Preston Street.
- Area 5, 'Special Use 9' zoned area adjacent to Minilya-Exmouth Road.

These Scheme Amendments relate to the Solar Eclipse 2023 and provide opportunity for temporary land uses for a period surrounding the event. Its intent is to enable management and control of the expected visitor influx, the provision of infrastructure and services and the impact of this on the environment and community. Hardcopies of the reports are available for inspection at the Shire’s office, Ningaloo Centre, 2 Truscott Crescent.
Submissions on the planning scheme amendment may be lodged in writing and should include the amendment number, the name and address of the person making the submission, the property affected and details of the submission and lodged with the undersigned on or before 14 March, 2021.
