COMMENTS ATTRIBUTED TO THE SHIRE – SHIRE PRESIDENT MATT NIIKKULA

"The Shire of Exmouth Community Volunteer and Sporting Awards 2021 acknowledges the value and important contributions of the many locals that truly are the fabric of our town. We are fortunate to live in a community with so many people willing to give their time and effort to enhance our town's social, cultural, economic and environmental well-being. All nominees have positively impacted the lives of others and the Exmouth community."

"These people are the unsung heroes of Exmouth. They don't do this for the recognition but because they want to make our community a supportive and vibrant place to live. Especially after the last year, where every sector, including our sporting clubs and not-for-profits, was impacted by COVID-19 in one way or another, these people came back to volunteering and kept encouraging others to support each other and their local community; which is truly inspiring."
