Proposed Scheme Amendment No.1 to Local Planning Scheme No.4

Learmonth Pipeline Fabrication Facility & associated Environmental Review

Notice is hereby given that the Shire of Exmouth is in receipt of a proposed Scheme Amendment (SA1) to Local Planning Scheme No.4 for a 'Learmonth Pipeline Fabrication Facility' (Subsea7).

Accompanying SA1 is an Environmental Review (ER), Assessment No. 2209 (pursuant to s.48C(1)(a) of the Environmental Act 1986) for which will examine the potential impacts to the environment from the change of land use and zoning from ‘Rural’ and ‘Foreshore Reserve’, to proposed ‘Special Use No. 10’.

Note.  The Environmental Protection Authority is concurrently advertising a Public Environmental Review pursuant to s.38 of the EP Act 1986.  This examines impacts associated with the implementation, operation and marine environment.  You can review and make a submission on the EPA's web-site (please click here

      

Public comments are invited on the proposed Scheme Amendment.  Submissions for stream 2 (above) are to be made in writing via:

Bush Fire Brigades Local Law  2019

Shire  of  Exmouth Bush Fire Brigades Local Law 2019

Notice is hereby given that the Shire of Exmouth has prepared the above mentioned local law for application.

The purpose of the proposed Shire of Exmouth Bush Fire Brigades Local Law is to make provisions about the running and control of Bushfire Brigades in the Shire of Exmouth reflective of the Memorandum of Understanding with the Department of Fire and Emergency Services

The effect of the proposed Local Law is The Department of Fire and Emergency Services will be better able to command the running of Bush Fire Brigades in the Shire of Exmouth in accordance with the Memorandum of Understanding with the Shire of Exmouth.

The proposed local law is available for inspection at the Shire of Exmouth Administration Centre, 2 Truscott Crescent Exmouth during office hours and also this website (please click here) .

Submissions may be lodged via email: records@exmouth.wa.gov.au (Subject line to read: Bush Fire Brigades Local Law 2019) or in writing and mailed to Shire of Exmouth P.O. Box 21 Exmouth 6707. 

Submissions must be lodged by 4:00pm Monday, 9 December 2019.
