Public Consultation

At its Ordinary Council Meeting  on Thursday, 28 February 2019 the Shire of Exmouth Council considered a Local Development Plan (LDP) relating to the proposed redevelopment of the Ningaloo Lighthouse Holiday Park by Northwest Resorts PTY LTD.  This LDP will set the context for future development of the area and is one of the first steps in the proposed future redevelopment of the caravan park.

At its meeting, Council discussed the importance of this development to the local community and formally resolved to advertise the proposed Local Development Plan (LDP) for public comment.

This consultation process opens today, 1 March 2019. Below is the link to the LDP documentation along with information on how to make a submission.

Once received, Council will consider all submissions and the LDP will be referred back to an Ordinary Council Meeting for a final decision.

Pursuant to Sch.2, pt.6, cl.50 (2) of the Planning and Development (Local Planning Schemes) Regulations 2015 and Council Resolution at it’s Ordinary Council Meeting 28 February 2019 hereby seek community comment for the following:

Local Development Plan (LDP) (Vlamingh Head), Ningaloo Lighthouse Caravan Park (PA19/19)

Lot 2 and Lot 557 Yardie Creek Road, North West Cape, Exmouth
