Pre-Cyclone Clean-Up

Council conducts the Pre-Cyclone Clean Up at the beginning of the cyclone season every year. A public notice will be issued approximately two weeks prior to the commencement of the clean-up to assist the community in being prepared.

Items collected in the course of this service are those that are likely to be a hazard in cyclonic wind conditions. To ensure the success of the clean-up, please adhere to the attached guidelines. 

Despite the above, it should be noted that any item left on the verge, including containers, is at risk of being removed during the Pre-Cyclone Clean Up period.
