About the Aerodrome

The Shire of Exmouth has operated the Exmouth Aerodrome (previously known as the Exmouth Light Aircraft Strip) since 1974. Exmouth Aerodrome is located approximately 13km South of Exmouth.

Exmouth Aerodrome predominantly services general aviation aircraft (commercial, sightseeing and recreational), micro-lights (sightseeing and recreational) and helicopter maintenance bases.

The aerodrome is classified as an Aeroplane Landing Area, however, registration with CASA is being sought.

There are three distinct operational areas at the Aerodrome - General Aviation, Helicopters and Commercial.  The Exmouth Aerodrome Master Plan has identified further development opportunities in each area.  For any queries on commercial opportunities, please contact the Aviation Manager on (08) 9949 1326 or at am@exmouth.wa.gov.au
